Kokopelli Farm and Produce
Fresh Memories Made Daily!

Seasons on the Farm

Winter--We keep busy by pruning our 8,000 trees by hand.

Spring--The blossoms are thinned by hand to assure a nice-sized peach, orchard heaters are put out to protect against spring frosts

Summer--Harvest begins in June with cherries and apricots and continues into October with the late-variety peaches.

Fall--Ladders, boxes and equipment are tucked away in the barn.  We usually take a little time to relax before we start the winter work.

A Little Bit About Us

We have been raising fruit in Palisade since 1979.  In 1991 we switched our entire operation to growing fruit organically.  Currently we are farming  25 acres of fruit, mainly peaches, along with a berry patch and farm market garden.

Ours sons help us in the orchard and farm market.  Extended family and friends all pitch in and help when we need them.  We are blessed to be surrounded by our family doing what we enjoy--raising peaches!
